Continuing Learning Opportunities continue to be provided to all of our students every day in addition to IEPed counseling and related services. Please continue to let your teachers and therapists know about any questions or concerns you have. We will work through this together the best we can.
No School on Memorial Day, May 25th. Last day of school is Friday, June 19th.
To help you and your student at home we will continue to find resources and activities to keep your child engaged. Please check out our resources section below for information from various educational websites and organizations supporting parents at home with their children.
Meal Distribution
During this closure it is important to note that all New Britain students will have access to Breakfast and Lunch at five distribution centers in the city.

▧ Food Truck at A.W. Stanley Park close to the Basket ball courts., Stanley Street, New Britain
Meal Distribution Center hours are Monday – Friday: 8:30a.m.-10:00 a.m. AND 11:30-1:00. The expectation is that you bring your child with you for their meals. You may obtain both meals during each of the open hours so that you do not have to come twice per day. Once you arrive there will be instructions to maintain a reasonable flow of people.

In addition we will be driving to Malikowski Circle and the Mount Pleasant neighborhoods beginning around 11:00 a.m. Both breakfast and lunch will be provided.
The Whitson’s food truck will also be driving through the various parks in New Britain at 1:30 in the afternoon to ensure all New Britain students have access to meals. Parks include:
